Job Description

CVX is seeking an Investment Scout for its Venture Scout Programme in Oslo, Norway. The programme aims to build a network of talented VC scouts to source attractive investment opportunities.

As a Venture Scout, the individual will learn VC skills, meet with founders, and help shape the future. CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors, providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, time, skills, and network.

The Investment Scout will identify startups, conduct research on their teams, markets, and competition, and write a proposal memo summarising their investment thesis. They may also be asked to present it to the CVX Investment Team.

If the Investment Scout is interested in joining the CVX Investment Team, this programme serves as a first step towards gaining insight into the VC ecosystem, developing VC skills, and demonstrating investment analysis abilities to CVX.

Role Involves:

• Identifying exciting startups.
• Conducting research on teams, markets, and competition.
• Writing 1-2 page proposal memos summarising investment thesis.
• Presenting investment thesis to the CVX Investment Team.
