Managing Director

Job Description

CVX is seeking a Managing Director to join its investment team in either London or Copenhagen. The Managing Director will play a vital role in CVX's global investment operations, managing their own portfolio and overseeing the entire deal process from start to finish.

CVX is a fast-growing venture investor in Europe. The company helps ambitious growth companies reach their full potential by investing capital, knowledge, time, skills, and network. CVX invests together with business angels and has over 600 partners in their network.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that CVX is exposed to all interesting deals in the market
• Creating a continuous and high-quality deal flow
• Analyzing companies, markets, industries, and teams to make investment decisions
• Negotiating term sheets and securing investment opportunities
• Presenting investment opportunities to the investment committee
• Running investment processes with partners and closing investment rounds

Requirements:

• High work ethic and a sense of urgency
• The ability to close deals
• Unusual drive and desire to excel
• A proactive approach and ownership mentality
• Passion for analyzing and investing in companies
• Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's or master's degree with excellent results
• 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, consulting, banking, or similar
• EU work permit
