VC Scout at CVX Ventures

CVX is seeking a Venture Scout to join their Venture Scout Programme. This is not a full-time role, but offers remuneration based on success criteria. The Venture Scout will assist in sourcing attractive investment opportunities within their specialist fields, developing VC skills and meeting entrepreneurial founders.

As a CVX Venture Scout, the individual will:

• Identify exciting startups
• Speak with startups and conduct research on their teams, markets, and competition
• Write a 1-2 page proposal memo summarizing the investment thesis
• Present the investment thesis to the CVX Investment Team

CVX expects Venture Scouts to demonstrate their understanding of investments, analysis skills, and presentation abilities. The programme serves as a potential pathway to joining the CVX Investment Team.
