Venture Director CVX Ventures Sweden at CVX Ventures

CVX Ventures is seeking a Venture Director to build and lead their Swedish operations in Stockholm. This role involves establishing a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals. The Venture Director will play a crucial role in expanding CVX's presence in the Swedish market.

CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms, aiming to be the largest risk investor by providing capital, knowledge, and networks to fast-growing companies. They believe the best investors equip founders with the right expertise for specific stages and industries.

The ideal candidate will be highly driven, proactive, and skilled at building relationships with people. CVX consists of 20 ambitious individuals across Copenhagen, London, and Oslo.

Role Involves:

• Developing and implementing strategies for the Swedish market
• Leading expansion efforts, including potential acquisitions
• Managing the Swedish P&L and operations
• Building a high-quality network of partners
• Recruiting and leading a high-performing team of 10-15 people
• Identifying and attracting investment opportunities
• Driving the investment process from prospecting to investment
• Representing CVX at events and conferences

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments
• Proactivity and ownership
• Strong interest in venture capital and startups

• Natural sales ability and success in achieving revenue goals
• Leadership experience
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Network within the Swedish startup ecosystem (a plus)
