Job Description
CVX is seeking a Venture Scout to join its team in London. This is not a full-time role, but it offers remuneration based on success criteria. The Venture Scout will assist in sourcing attractive investment opportunities and making a difference for growth companies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to learn and develop VC skills.
As a CVX Venture Scout, the individual will play a crucial role in identifying exciting startups. They will be expected to:
- Speak with startups and conduct research on their teams, markets, and competition.
- Write a 1-2 page proposal memo summarizing the investment thesis.
- Present the investment thesis to the CVX Investment Team in person or online.
CVX aims to use the Venture Scout Programme to discover exceptional investment opportunities and gain a deeper understanding of potential candidates for the Investment Team. The Venture Scout Programme will be the first pool of resource CVX looks to hire from.
