Venture Scout at CVX Ventures

CVX is seeking a Venture Scout to join its Venture Scout Programme. The programme aims to build a network of talented VC scouts to assist in sourcing attractive investment opportunities. The Venture Scout will learn and develop skills required for VC, meet entrepreneurial founders, and help shape the future.

The role involves:

• Identifying exciting startups.
• Speaking with startups and conducting research on their teams, markets, and competition.
• Writing a 1-2 page proposal memo summarizing the investment thesis.
• Presenting the investment thesis in-person or online to the CVX Investment Team.

CVX aims to use the Venture Scout Programme to discover investment opportunities and gain a deeper understanding of the Venture Scout's vision. It is an excellent first step towards gaining an introduction to the VC ecosystem, learning essential VC skills, and demonstrating investment analysis skills.
