Country Lead CVX Ventures Finland at CVX Ventures

CVX Ventures is seeking a Country Lead to establish and lead their Finnish division in Helsinki. This role involves building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and driving deal closures. The Country Lead will be the first person on the ground, playing a hands-on role in the company's expansion.

The Country Lead will report to the CEO and will contribute significantly to CVX Ventures' mission of becoming Europe's largest venture investor.

What this role involves:

• Defining and executing strategies, and adjusting them continuously.
• Leading the Finnish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
• Being responsible for the Finnish profit & loss and overall operations.
• Building a large pool of value adding partners.
• Hiring, developing and leading a team of 10-15 people across sales, board management, event & members, and investments.
• Finding and attracting the best investment cases.
• Leading end-to-end investment deals.
• Representing CVX at events, gatherings, and conferences.

Requirements:

• High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
• Unusually strong drive and desire to be the best.
• 5+ years of experience in venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced environments.
• Proactive approach and ownership.
• Deep interest in venture capital and start-ups with a passion for analyzing and investing.
• People-oriented with the ability to bring people together.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at management and board level.
• Ability to win the trust of business leaders.
• Outstanding analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Natural ability to sell and work with sales.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Preferably, a network in the Finnish start-up ecosystem.
