CVX Ventures is seeking an Entrepreneur in Residence to establish and lead its Finnish division in Helsinki. This is a hands-on role where the individual will focus on building a sales pipeline and ensuring deal closure. The ideal candidate will be driven, resilient, and able to build trust with people.
CVX is a venture investor that provides high-growth companies with capital, knowledge, and network. The company has over 600 angel investor partners who invest in and support companies. CVX currently has 20 individuals in Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Stockholm, and Helsinki.
What this role involves:
- Defining and executing strategies.
- Leading the Finnish expansion, including acquisitions.
- Being responsible for the Finnish profit & loss and overall operations.
- Building a large pool of partners.
- Hiring and leading a team of 10-15 people.
- Finding and attracting investment cases.
- Leading investment deals.
- Representing CVX at events.
What we expect from you:

- Strong leadership skills and we ideally see that you have led and managed teams in the past
- Fluency in Finnish and English.
- Preferably, a network in the Finnish start-up ecosystem.
