CVX Ventures is seeking a highly motivated VD to lead its Swedish operations in Stockholm. This is a hands-on role where the individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals on time. The ideal candidate will be driven, proactive, and possess a natural ability to build trust and relationships.

CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms, aiming to become the largest venture investor by providing capital, knowledge, and networks to high-growth companies. The CVX team consists of 20 ambitious individuals in Copenhagen, London, Oslo, and soon in Stockholm.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for the Swedish market.
  • Leading the expansion in Sweden, including potential acquisitions.
  • Managing the Swedish P&L and operations.
  • Building a large and high-quality group of partners.
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a high-performing team of 10–15 people.
  • Identifying and attracting the best investment opportunities.
  • Driving the entire investment process.
  • Representing CVX at events and conferences.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • High work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional drive and desire to be the best.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments.
  • Proactivity and ability to take ownership.
  • Strong interest in venture capital and startups.
  • Ability to build collaboration and trust.
  • Effective communication skills at the leadership level.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Natural sales ability.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • A network within the Swedish startup ecosystem is a plus.
