Job Description
CVX Ventures Sweden is seeking a Venture Associate to establish and lead their Swedish operations in Stockholm. CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms. The role involves establishing a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals in a timely manner.
Role Involves:
- Developing and implementing a strategy for the Swedish market
- Leading expansion in Sweden, including potential acquisitions
- Managing the Swedish P&L and operations
- Building a partner network
- Recruiting and leading a team of 10–15 people
- Identifying and attracting investment opportunities
- Driving the investment process
- Representing CVX at events
- Reporting to the CEO
Requirements:
- High work ethic and sense of urgency
- Exceptional drive and ambition
- Minimum 5 years of experience in venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments
- Proactivity and ownership
- Strong interest in venture capital and startups
- Ability to build trust and collaboration
- Effective communication skills at the leadership level
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sales skills and success in exceeding revenue targets
- Leadership experience
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Network within the Swedish startup ecosystem (a plus)
