Job Description

CVX Ventures Sweden is seeking a Venture Associate to establish and lead their Swedish operations in Stockholm. CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms. The role involves establishing a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals in a timely manner.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing a strategy for the Swedish market
  • Leading expansion in Sweden, including potential acquisitions
  • Managing the Swedish P&L and operations
  • Building a partner network
  • Recruiting and leading a team of 10–15 people
  • Identifying and attracting investment opportunities
  • Driving the investment process
  • Representing CVX at events
  • Reporting to the CEO

Requirements:

  • High work ethic and sense of urgency

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments
  • Proactivity and ownership
  • Strong interest in venture capital and startups
  • Ability to build trust and collaboration
  • Effective communication skills at the leadership level

  • Sales skills and success in exceeding revenue targets
  • Leadership experience
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Network within the Swedish startup ecosystem (a plus)
