CVX Ventures is seeking a Venture Developer to build and lead their Swedish operations in Stockholm. This is a hands-on role requiring the individual to establish a strong sales pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting, and close deals. The ideal candidate will be driven, proactive, and capable of building relationships.
CVX is a fast-growing venture capital firm that provides capital, knowledge, and networks to high-growth companies. It invests alongside business angels, with over 600 partners contributing to its portfolio companies. The company currently has 20 employees across Copenhagen, London, and Oslo.
Role Involves:
- Developing and implementing strategies for the Swedish market.
- Leading expansion efforts in Sweden, including potential acquisitions.
- Managing the Swedish P&L and operational activities.
- Building a network of partners.
- Recruiting and leading a team of 10–15 people in sales, board work, events, and investments.
- Identifying and attracting investment opportunities.
- Managing the entire investment process.
- Representing CVX at events and conferences.
- Reporting directly to the CEO.
Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments.
- Proactivity and ownership.
- A strong interest in venture capital and startups.
- Ability to foster collaboration and trust.
- Effective communication skills at the management and board levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sales skills and a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Leadership experience.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
- A network within the Swedish startup ecosystem is a plus.
