CVX Ventures Sweden is seeking a highly motivated Venture Lead to establish and manage their Swedish operations in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a market strategy, leading expansion efforts, and overseeing the Swedish profit and loss statement.

The Venture Lead will build a strong network of partners, recruit and manage a high-performing team, identify investment opportunities, drive the investment process, and represent CVX at industry events.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing a strategy for the Swedish market.
  • Leading expansion in Sweden, including potential acquisitions.
  • Managing the Swedish profit and loss statement and operations.
  • Building a network of partners.
  • Recruiting and leading a team of 10–15 people.
  • Identifying and attracting investment opportunities.
  • Driving the investment process.
  • Representing CVX at events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • High work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Exceptional drive and a desire to be the best
  • 5+ years of experience (venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments preferred)
  • Proactivity and ownership
  • Strong interest in venture capital and startups
  • Ability to build collaboration and trust
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sales skills and success in exceeding revenue goals
  • Leadership experience
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • A network within the Swedish startup ecosystem is a plus
