CVX Ventures Sweden is seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and lead their sales operations in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for venture capital. This role involves building a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals efficiently.
The Business Development Manager will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with other teams within the organization. CVX Ventures is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms, aiming to become the largest risk investor by providing capital, knowledge, and networks to rapidly expanding companies.
Role Involves:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Driving sales and exceeding revenue targets.
- Recruiting, developing, and leading a sales team.
- Participating in budget work and setting organizational goals.
- Monitoring KPIs and developing action plans for improvement.
- Driving the investment process from prospecting to investment.
- Representing CVX at events, conferences, and gatherings.
- Collaborating with the organization.
- Reporting directly to the CEO.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and/or sales in fast-growing startups.
- Proven ability to sell and exceed revenue targets.
- High work ethic and a sense of urgency.
- Exceptional drive and a desire to excel.
- Proactive and capable of taking ownership.
- Strong ability to build collaboration and trust.
- Strong interest in venture capital and startups.
- Excellent communication skills at the management and board level.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English
