CVX Ventures is seeking a Commercial Director to establish and lead its Swedish sales operations in Stockholm. The role involves building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals in a timely manner. The Commercial Director will work strategically and operationally in sales, mastering a consultative sales process.

CVX is one of Europe's rapidly growing venture capital firms, aiming to become the largest risk investor by providing fast-growing companies with capital, knowledge, and networks. With over 600 partners investing and contributing, CVX consists of 20 ambitious individuals across Copenhagen, London, Oslo, and soon Stockholm.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Driving sales and exceeding revenue targets
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a sales team
  • Participating in budgeting and goal setting
  • Monitoring KPIs and developing action plans
  • Driving the investment process
  • Representing CVX at events
  • Collaborating with the organization
  • Reporting to the CEO

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in business development and/or sales in fast-growing startups
  • Proven sales ability and success in achieving revenue targets
  • High work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Exceptional drive and ambition
  • Proactivity and ownership
  • Strong collaboration and trust-building skills
  • Interest in venture capital and startups
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Network within the Swedish startup ecosystem (plus)
