CVX Ventures is seeking a Commercial Lead to establish and lead their Finnish sales division in Helsinki. This role involves building and maintaining a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals. The Commercial Lead will work strategically and operationally, mastering outreach and consultative sales. CVX is a fast-growing venture investor aiming to be Europe's largest, providing capital, knowledge, and network to high-growth companies. The company has over 600 angel investor partners and consists of 20 individuals in Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Stockholm, and now Helsinki.Role involves:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies
- Building the lead marketing machine
- Driving sales and exceeding revenue targets
- Hiring, developing, and leading a sales team
- Participating in budget work and setting goals
- Following KPIs and implementing action plans
- Leading end-to-end investment deals
- Representing CVX at events
- Collaborating with other managers
- Reporting to the CEO
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced environments
- Proven sales success
- High work ethic and sense of urgency
- Exceptional drive
- Proactive approach and ownership
- People-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to win trust
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English
- Network in the Finnish start-up ecosystem (preferred)
