CVX Ventures is seeking a Sales Director to establish and lead its Swedish sales operations in Stockholm. The Sales Director will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, and closing deals in a timely manner. This role requires a hands-on approach with both strategic and operational sales expertise.

CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms. The company invests alongside the best business angels, providing founders with relevant knowledge, experience, and networks. CVX currently comprises 20 individuals across Copenhagen, London, Oslo, and soon, Stockholm.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy.
  • Driving sales and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a sales team.
  • Participating in budgeting and setting organizational goals.
  • Monitoring KPIs and developing action plans to improve results.
  • Driving the investment process from prospecting to investment.
  • Representing CVX at events and conferences.
  • Collaborating with other members within the organization.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in venture capital, startups, or dynamic environments.
  • Proven ability to sell and exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional drive and desire to excel.
  • Proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and trust.
  • Strong interest in venture capital and startups.
  • Excellent communication skills at the executive level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • Network within the Swedish startup ecosystem is a strong plus.
