Artefact is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data & Consulting division in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing project delivery, ensuring solutions bring value to clients, and mentoring the team. This role involves both the conception and implementation of innovative solutions, optimizing performance and scalability. The Data Engineer is expected to stay updated on industry news and advancements, sharing knowledge and learnings within the team.Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Above in Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience in developing and applying data-driven solutions with right technical architecture
• Experience in designing Data Integration / ETL
• Experience with Python, Linux, SQL, Scala or other popular programming languages
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Mapreduce, Flink and related big data technologies
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, etc.
• Experience with Cloud service (Ali Cloud, Azure, AWS)
• Experience with AI and machine learning algorithms model building and AI analytics product deployment.
• Must be native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker, and fluent in English
