Artefact LatAm is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to join its Data and Consulting team. The intern will assist clients in transforming their data strategy by applying advanced analytics to generate insights from big data and artificial intelligence. What the role involves:
- Identifying client needs and defining innovative solutions in collaboration with a team of consultants, data scientists, and engineers.
- Participating in the solution from start to finish, managing conception, implementation, and optimizing performance and scalability with the help of senior engineers.
- Working across the entire project value chain, including infrastructure and platform creation, data collection, application of machine learning models, and creation of REST APIs and front-ends.
- Prioritizing tasks, respecting deadlines, and raising concerns when risks or problems arise.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, economics, or a related field.
- Must have at least one year of internship eligibility remaining, with graduation date after July 2025.
- Curiosity and a drive to find innovative solutions for clients.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for knowledge sharing.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to bring solutions, new ideas, and innovations to the team.
