Artefact LatAm is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data and Consulting team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in transforming and improving their data strategies by applying advanced analytics to generate business value from big data and artificial intelligence. The Data Engineer will collaborate with consultants, data scientists, and other engineers to identify client needs and define innovative solutions. They will participate in the solution from start to finish, managing conception, implementation, and optimization of performance and scalability. This role involves acting across the entire value chain of projects, from creating infrastructure and platforms to collecting data, applying machine learning models, and developing APIs, front-ends, tests, and continuous implementations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying client needs and defining innovative solutions.
• Participating in the end-to-end solution development process.
• Managing the conception and implementation of solutions.
• Optimizing performance and scalability.
• Working on infrastructure, data collection, and machine learning models.
• Creating APIs, front-ends, and tests.

Requirements:

• Graduation in computer science, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• Curiosity and a drive for innovative solutions.
• Involvement in the entire value chain (front-end, back-end, big data infrastructure, ML models).
• Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring solutions and new ideas.
