Shipping Packer - 2nd shift (Job 846)

Job Description

DLH Corporation is seeking a Shipping Packer for their VA CMOP in Leavenworth, Kansas. This role involves packing and shipping medical prescriptions for veterans. The position is a full-time second shift role, Monday through Friday, from 12:30pm to 7:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of work experience, with previous experience in packing, production, or assembly line work being a plus. They must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of legal residency, be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include:

• Scanning prescription barcodes
• Placing prescriptions into appropriate envelopes or boxes
• Including patient refill documents and return address labels
• Adding packing material for protection
• Closing and sealing containers
• Placing address labels and sending orders to the manifesting area
• Maintaining stock and a clean work area

Requirements include:

• Minimum of 1 year work experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States
• Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate or have a GED
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, and stoop
• Ability to stand for long periods, performing repetitive motions
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening
