Specialist Software Engineer - PIX

Job Description

iFood, a leading Brazilian technology company in Latin America, is seeking a Specialist Software Engineer to join their PIX team. The company connects thousands of restaurants to millions of consumers daily through innovative solutions. iFood is not only a food delivery service but also encompasses Mercado, Farmácia, Pet, and iFood Pago, its Fintech arm.

The Specialist Software Engineer will collaborate with the team on the efficient migration of systems and the maintenance of the backend infrastructure. He will ensure the stability and scalability of products in the production environment. The role involves contributing to compliance with regulatory requirements, such as PIX taxation and reporting to the Receita Federal. The candidate will actively participate in the direct operation of backend transactions, ensuring efficient transitions. He will propose and implement technical improvements that add value to the team and the project, and work collaboratively with internal and external members, maintaining a constant exchange of knowledge.

Role Involves:

• Collaborating on system migration and backend infrastructure maintenance.
• Ensuring stability and scalability of products in production.
• Contributing to regulatory compliance (PIX taxation, reporting).
• Participating in backend transaction operations.
• Proposing and implementing technical improvements.
• Collaborating with internal and external team members.

Requirements:
