Job Description

The Quality Group (TQG) is seeking a Laborant (gn) in Qualitätskontrolle for its laboratory located at the production site in Elmshorn. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and initially limited to two years, with the possibility of permanent employment.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for quality control in the laboratory, commissioning external analyses, managing test equipment and master data, and working on projects such as the introduction of a protein analyzer.

Role Involves:

• Quality control of raw, intermediate, and finished goods using various analytical methods in the in-house laboratory (chemical, physical, microbiological, sensory).
• Commissioning external analyses (including sample preparation, dispatch, receipt, and evaluation of test results, along with proper documentation).
• Test equipment monitoring.
• Implementation and validation of new measurement methods.
• Creation and management of laboratory-relevant master data.
• Working on projects such as the introduction of a protein analyzer.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed training as a CTA or chemical laboratory technician or studies in ecotrophology or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, bringing experience in sensory analysis.
• Experience with modern laboratory data information management systems (LIMS).
• Proficient in the use of MS Office products.
• Fluent in German and English.
