Job Description
Verkada is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join their sales team in New York City. The Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business within the mid-market territory, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Verkada products and their position in the industry, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.Role involves:
- Sourcing and closing new business
- Building understanding of Verkada products
- Managing the full sales cycle
- Maintaining accurate pipeline management
- Exceeding goals through outbound activities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and partners
- Collaborating with Channel Partners & Technical Support
- Providing market feedback to the product team
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of sales experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in Salesforce is a plus
