Verkada is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join their sales team. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business within a defined territory, focusing on mid-market clients. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and requires a strong understanding of Verkada's product suite.Verkada is a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, offering integrated solutions across video security, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace management, and intercoms.
Responsibilities: - Source and close new business to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Build a deep understanding of Verkada products.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, proposals, and closing.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
- Exceed goals for outbound calls, emails, demos, and trials.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
- Collaborate with Channel Partners & Technical Support.
- Provide market feedback to the product/engineering team.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Tenacity and self-motivation.
