Job Description
Verkada is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join their Mid-Market California Corp Team. This role is crucial for generating new business within mid-sized companies across various corporate sectors in California. The Account Executive will play a key role in helping customers operate safer and smarter buildings with Verkada’s cloud-managed physical security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Source and close new business to meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
- Build a deep understanding of Verkada products and their industry position.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, conducting online demos, creating proposals, and closing deals.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and expert-level forecasting.
- Exceed activity targets through proactive outreach via phone calls, emails, online demos, and facilitating trials.
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and Channel Partners.
- Work closely with Channel Partners, Solutions Engineering & Technical Support.
- Provide market/client feedback to Verkada’s Product/Engineering team.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in-office 5 days a week in San Mateo, California.
- At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity.
- Highly effective communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Experience in Salesforce is a plus.
- Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation.

- On-target earnings (OTE) range of $125,000 - $190,000 USD annually, comprised of base compensation and commissions.
