MBA intern - Investment at Peak Energy

Peak Energy is looking for an MBA intern to join their Investment team in Singapore. The intern will support investment analysis, project financing, and M&A activities, playing a crucial role within the Utility Power Projects (UPP) team.

Peak Energy is a renewable energy platform focused on developing solar, wind, and battery projects across Asia Pacific for Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.

Responsibilities:

• Support developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models for renewable energy projects and M&A opportunities.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, perform financial analysis, and assist in deal structuring.
• Support due diligence process for investment opportunities, ensuring accurate assessment of risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and perform financial analysis.
• Assist preparing IC presentations and internal reporting to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.

Requirements:

• Currently in an undergraduate or post-graduate programme with background in finance/accounting or other related fields.
• Experience in creating and utilizing financial models, particularly in the renewable sector will be seen favourably, but not mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in financial modelling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
