Job Description
Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is seeking a Deal Desk Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role will act as a trusted advisor, partnering with sales, renewal, finance, legal, and channel teams, as well as senior management, throughout the Non-Standard Quotation (NSQ) deal process. The Deal Desk Manager will drive and facilitate the review of Non-Standard Deals, optimizing commercial, technical, financial, and contractual terms.
The role involves:
- Assisting sales teams with accurate pricing and licensing.
- Ensuring compliance with Veeam's sales processes.
- Collaborating with sales, legal, finance, renewals, and senior management.
- Maximizing margins and managing discount levels.
- Training sales teams on sales tools.
- Handling transactional deal pricing requests.
- Maintaining reports on discounting trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience in deal desk, finance, sales, or sales operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Fluency in two other Asian languages is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Sales Force and Microsoft Office programs.
