Veeam, a leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Veeam Backup for Linux Engineer. This role involves providing technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues, and documenting interactions. The engineer will act as a technical focal point, taking ownership of customer problems from initial report to resolution. They will investigate log files, troubleshoot in Veeam, and address third-party components from Microsoft and VMware.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Linux system administration skills, TCP/IP knowledge, and experience with Linux-based OS. Familiarity with Nutanix AHV hypervisor, Oracle database concepts, SAP HANA, and scripting languages is expected. Analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to learn quickly, are important.
