Virtualization Backup Engineer (Italian speaker) at Veeam Software

Veeam is seeking a Virtualization Backup Engineer with Italian language skills to join their Technical Customer Support team in Prague. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to IT professionals, utilizing troubleshooting skills and product knowledge to resolve technical issues related to Veeam Backup and Replication (VBR) and related third-party components.

The Virtualization Backup Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently resolving technical challenges and providing clear explanations of processes and interactions.

Role Involves:

• Performing troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation.
• Acting as a technical focal point in relationships to fellow IT Professionals.
• Taking ownership of customer problems from beginning to end.
• Troubleshooting Veeam and 3rd party components.
• Documenting all customer interactions accurately and within SLA.

Requirements:

• Fluent Italian & English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Advanced user or administrative level with Windows OS 2008(r2)/2012(r2)/2016.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP and networking configuration/troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux knowledge, VMware ESX(i), Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange server administration, DataBase engines (SQL/Oracle) as a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and explain technical information.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
