The Enterprise Architect role at Veeam involves designing and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices. The architect will be a bridge between customer needs and Veeam's technology, with focus in scalability, security and standardization of deployments.
Role Involves:
- Conducting technical discovery sessions with customers to understand their IT landscape.
- Designing detailed solution architectures tailored to customer environments.
- Creating technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
- Providing technical oversight during solution deployment and implementation.
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful solution adoption.
- Evaluating emerging technologies to enhance solution architectures.
Requirements:
- Extensive IT experience in solution architecture or technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems.
- Experience leading transformation projects for large enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, compliance frameworks, and IT governance.
- TOGAF and Veeam VMCE certifications are mandatory.
