Veeam, the leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Technical Account Manager. This role is responsible for the planning, architecture, coordination, and management of professional services engagements. The Technical Account Manager will be working from home in Saudi Arabia, combined with face-to-face customer visits.

The Technical Account Manager acts as an expert in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Continuity, Data Center, Cloud, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing input to proposals and Statements of Work
  • Supporting delivery implementation and consulting services
  • Providing project guidance (plans, schedules, communication, resources, status)
  • Assisting with solution assessment, design, and post-installation issues
  • Assisting with Veeam Software solution implementation effort estimation
  • Creating white papers, solution guides, best practices, custom documentation
  • Delivering onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam Software solutions
  • Documenting configuration and completed activities
  • Analysing installed environments and guiding optimal Veeam Software configurations
  • Facilitating communication between client and Veeam support
  • Identifying additional needs within the client’s environment
  • Providing input for process and documentation improvement

Requirements:

  • VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
  • Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products
  • Proven Consulting and Project Management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Significant experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies
  • Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment
  • Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications
  • Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics
  • Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
  • Working knowledge of Cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols
  • Business proficient in Arabic and English
