Job Description
Veeam, the leading provider of data resilience solutions, is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join their team. This remote position, based in or around Paris, France, involves a combination of work from home and face-to-face customer visits. The TAM will be responsible for providing post-sales service to Veeam's largest customers, focusing on proactive support, management, coordination, planning, and architecture. They will serve as an expert in data management, data analytics, business continuity, data center, cloud, operating systems, networking, storage, and virtualization.

Role Involves:
  • Providing guidance to customers on Veeam, data protection, and related technologies.
  • Supporting the delivery of implementation and consulting services.
  • Providing project guidance, including plans, schedules, and communication.
  • Assisting with solution assessment, design, and post-installation issues.
  • Creating white papers, solution guides, and custom documentation.
  • Delivering onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam solutions.
  • Analyzing installed environments and guiding optimal configurations.
  • Facilitating communication between customers and Veeam teams.
  • Identifying additional needs within the client's environment.
  • Providing input for process and documentation improvement.
  • Meeting with customers regularly to build rapport.
  • Assisting the sales team in positioning the TAM role.

Requirements:
  • VMware VCP or Microsoft MCSE qualifications (or equivalent experience).
  • Prince 2, ITIL, or PMP project management qualifications (or equivalent experience).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology (or a combination of education and experience).
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam’s core products.
  • Strong consultative skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Significant experience with virtualization technologies (VMware and Hyper-V).
  • Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment.
  • Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics.
  • Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud technologies.
  • Business proficient in French and English.
