Veeam, the global market leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join their team. The TAM will be responsible for providing post-sales service to Veeam’s largest customers, focusing on proactive support, management, and architecture. This role is based in or around Paris, France, and involves a combination of remote work and face-to-face customer visits.
- Provide guidance to customers on Veeam, data protection, and related technologies
- Support implementation and consulting services
- Provide project guidance, including plans, schedules, and status updates
- Assist with solution assessment, design, and post-installation issues
- Create white papers, solution guides, and custom documentation
- Deliver onsite knowledge transfer
- Analyse environments and guide optimal configurations
- Facilitate communication between customers and Veeam teams
- Identify additional needs within the client's environment
- Meet with customers regularly to build rapport
- Assist the sales team in positioning the TAM role
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP project management qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology required
- Hands-on experience with Veeam’s core products
- Strong consultative skills and experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with disruptive storage systems
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment
- Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications
- Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics
- Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems
- Experience managing multiple projects and accounts
- Working knowledge of Cloud technologies
- Business proficient in French and English
