Job Description
Verkada is seeking an Account Executive to join their Mid-Market East SLED Team. This role focuses on generating new business within state and local government agencies and educational institutions. The Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and act as a trusted advisor to customers and Channel Partners. They will also provide market feedback to the Product/Engineering team.

Role Involves:
  • Sourcing and closing new business
  • Building understanding of Verkada products
  • Managing the full sales cycle
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management
  • Exceeding activity targets through proactive outreach
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
  • Working closely with Channel Partners, Solutions Engineering & Technical Support
  • Providing market/client feedback to Verkada’s Product/Engineering team

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in-office 5 days a week in San Mateo, California
  • At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Thrive in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in Salesforce is a plus
  • Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivated
