Job Description
Veeam is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify new account opportunities. The SDR will use phone, email, social media, and chat to connect with prospects and foster meaningful interactions. This role is based in Bucharest, Romania.

Role Involves:
- Generating new demand for the channel and sales team.
- Qualifying marketing-generated demand.
- Identifying and reaching out to additional decision-makers.
- Nurturing prospects using various touch tactics.
- Tracking and managing account info and activities in Salesforce.
- Engaging in productive conversations with target buyer personas.
- Making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Coordinating sales activities within the Veeam team.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of Veeam products.
Requirements:
- Professional level English required.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or a combination of education and experience).
- Previous sales experience (high-tech products/services is a plus).
- Outbound calling and/or Revenue Development Representative experience is a plus.
- Technical education and technology understanding of storage backup, cloud backup and the key manufacturers in the industry that Veeam works with is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of social medias and social selling best practices.
- Collaboration across internal teams to ensure actionable results.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic business research tools (LinkedIn, Google, Salesforce or similar CRM, Hoovers).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
