Enterprise Account Executive - Public at Veeam Software

Veeam, the leading provider of data protection and ransomware recovery solutions, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to focus on the public sector in Germany. This role involves developing and closing business within public accounts, leveraging partners to close sales, and engaging in cold calls to develop sales activities. The Enterprise Account Executive will collaborate with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, upsell, and close transactions.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and closing business within the public sector.
• Leveraging partners to close sales with their end customers.
• Making cold calls to develop sales activities with a large number of new mid-market and high-segment government accounts.
• Upselling and cross-selling to the existing public customer base.
• Forecasting and account/opportunity details in Salesforce.
• Proposing, coordinating, and participating in marketing activities in the territory.

Requirements:

• Public sales experience, including involvement in tenders for the public sector.
• Experience with vendors associated with Virtualization technology is a plus.
• Experience in selling through channel and direct methods.
• A proven track record of accomplishment selling in the public market to IT infrastructure specialists.
• Proven ability to develop new sales.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
• High-energy salesperson.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly.
• Comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time.
• Current full driving license.
• Business proficient language skills in German & English.
