Veeam, the #1 global market leader in data resilience, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive - Public to develop and close business with public accounts in Germany. This role involves working with the partner sales community to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities. The Enterprise Account Executive will collaborate with partners to accelerate, up-sell, and close transactions within the public sector.
Role involves:
- Developing and closing business within the public sector
- Leveraging partners to close sales with their end customers
- Cold calling to develop sales activities with new government accounts
- Up-selling and cross-selling to the existing public customer base
- Forecasting and managing account/opportunity details in Salesforce
- Proposing, coordinating, and participating in marketing activities
Requirements:
- Public sales experience, including partaking in tenders for the public sector
- Experience with vendors associated to Virtualization technology is a plus
- Experience of selling through channel and direct
- Track record of accomplishment selling in the public market to IT infrastructure specialists
- Proven ability to develop new sales
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
- High-energy salesperson
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time
- Current full driving license
- Business proficient language skills in German & English
