Job Description
Veeam, a market leader in data resilience, is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager. This role involves developing business within the public or private sector in Germany, leveraging partners to close sales, and up-selling to existing customers. The Enterprise Account Manager will work with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions. They will also be responsible for forecasting and account/opportunity details in Salesforce and participating in marketing activities in Germany.
The role involves:
- Developing and closing business within the public or private sector
- Leveraging partners to close sales with their end customers
- Cold calls to develop sales activities with a large number of new high-segment accounts
- Up-selling and cross-selling to the existing customer base
- Forecasting and account/opportunity details in Salesforce
- Proposing, coordinating and participating in marketing activities in Germany
Veeam expects the candidate to have:
- Enterprise sales experience within the public and/or private sector
- Experience with vendors associated to Virtualization, Cloud & SaaS technology
- Experience of selling through channel and direct
- Track record of accomplishment selling in the public and private market to IT infrastructure specialists
- Proven ability to develop new sales
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
- Be a high-energy salesperson
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
- Be comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time
- Current full driving license
- Business proficient language skills in German & English
