Veeam, the leading provider of data protection and ransomware recovery solutions, is seeking a Territory Manager to develop business within a designated market in Germany. This role involves working with partners to drive sales opportunities and close deals.

The Territory Manager will collaborate with partners to identify, develop, and close transactions. They will also engage in cold calling to cultivate new business and up-sell to existing clients. The role requires forecasting and maintaining accurate opportunity details in Salesforce. Additionally, the Territory Manager will propose and participate in marketing activities within their territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and close business with defined accounts
  • Leverage partners to close sales with their end customers
  • Cold calls to develop sales activities with new end users
  • Up-sell and cross-sell to the existing customer base
  • Forecasts and maintain account/opportunity details in Salesforce
  • Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities

Requirements:

  • Direct, new business sales experience
  • Experience with Virtualization, Cloud & SaaS technology is a plus
  • Experience of selling through channel and direct
  • Track record of accomplishment selling to IT infrastructure specialists
  • Proven ability to develop new sales
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • High-energy salesperson
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time
  • Current full driving license
  • Business proficient language skills in German & English
