Inside Distribution Manager with Italian at Veeam Software

Veeam, the leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking an Inside Distribution Manager. The Inside Distribution Manager will be responsible for selling Veeam products by recruiting, training and enabling channel partners for the Italian market. This role requires developing executive-level relationships with distributors within the territory and maintaining an end-user focus.This individual will have full responsibility for distributors in the territory, aiming to maximize growth potential. The role includes setting targets, evaluating performance linked to those targets, evaluating potential and regularly present to distributors to ensure that we have the best partners in the market.Responsibilities:

• Managing distributors in the market and act as their main contact daily, actively supporting the sales out.
• Achieving revenue targets and goals for the territory (Italy).
• Developing and executing territory plan with the focus on distributors.
• Proposing, coordinating, and participating in marketing activities within the territory.
• Working with the regional sales team to advance opportunities to closure, including System Engineers to qualify and deliver product demonstrations technically.
• Training the distributor on Veeam products: value adds arguments, and our processes.
• Entering forecasting and account/opportunity details in Veeam’s CRM-system (SalesForce).
• Providing weekly updates including but not limited to dollar amounts, socket counts, status and decision-makers and next steps in closing opportunities.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Significant experience in channel sales within IT industry in channel-focused companies.
• Proven track record of successful selling to the enterprise accounts.
• Experience from doing own planning of activities (in compliance with company objectives), driving initiatives and being responsible for the result.
