Job Description
Veeam, a leader in data resilience, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Bucharest, Romania. This role involves identifying and qualifying new account opportunities for the channel, inside, and field sales teams. The SDR will use various tactics, including phone outreach, email, social media, and chat, to connect with prospects and foster meaningful interactions. They will also qualify marketing-generated demand and engage with buying groups to validate potential opportunities.
Role involves:
- Generating new demand for the channel and sales team
- Qualifying marketing-generated demand
- Identifying and reaching out to additional decision-makers
- Nurturing prospects using various touch tactics
- Tracking and managing account info and activities in Salesforce
- Engaging in productive conversations with target buyer personas
- Making a high volume of outbound calls
- Coordinating sales activities within the Veeam team
Requirements:
- Professional level of Italian and English
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Previous sales experience (high-tech products/services preferred)
- Outbound calling experience is a plus
- Technical understanding of storage backup and cloud backup is preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of social media and social selling best practices
- Excellent communication skills
