Systems Engineer at Veeam Software

Veeam, the #1 global market leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Systems Engineer to work closely with sales and evangelize their product offerings to partners, resellers, and end-users in Belgium. The Systems Engineer will manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process and serve as the main technical advisor for Veeam solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Positioning Veeam products to partners and end-users to overachieve sales goals.
• Managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process.
• Providing web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam software.
• Working closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers.
• Providing customer feedback to the development team.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in a pre-sales role for an IT Software vendor.
• Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Systems Centre.
• Wide range of technical knowledge of data management.
• Comfortable discussing Cloud technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French, and Dutch.
• Comfortable presenting to groups remotely and in person.
• Ability to travel 25% - 50% of the time.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using social media to promote and grow the Veeam community.
