Job Description
Veeam, the global market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Systems Engineer to work closely with sales and evangelize their product offerings to partners, resellers, and end-users. This role involves significant travel within the region of responsibility.

The role involves:
  • Positioning Veeam products to partners and end-users.
  • Managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process.
  • Providing web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam software.
  • Working closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers.
  • Working closely with development to provide customer feedback.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in a pre-sales role for an IT Software vendor.
  • Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Systems Centre.
  • Wide range of technical knowledge of data management.
  • Comfortable discussing Cloud technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups remotely and in person.
  • Available to spend 25% - 50% of the time with customers and partners.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using social media to promote the Veeam community.
