Job Description
Veeam, the global market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Technical Account Manager in Austria. This is a remote position. The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for the planning, architecture, coordination, and management of professional services engagements. They will focus on architecting and project managing availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring. Veeam is an equal opportunity employer.

Role Involves:
  • Providing input to proposals and Statements of Work.
  • Supporting delivery implementation and consulting services.
  • Providing project guidance (plans, schedules, communication, etc.).
  • Assisting with solution assessment, design, and post-installation issues.
  • Assisting with Veeam Software solution implementation effort estimation.
  • Creating white papers, solutions guides, and custom documentation.
  • Delivering onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam Software solutions.
  • Documenting configuration and completed activities.
  • Analysing installed environments and guiding optimal Veeam Software configurations.
  • Facilitating communication between client and Veeam support.
  • Identifying additional needs within the client’s environment.
  • Providing input for process and documentation improvement.

Requirements:
  • VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience.
  • Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products.
  • Proven Consulting and Project Management experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Significant experience and understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment.
  • Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics.
  • Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity and Operating Systems.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols.
  • Business proficient in German and English.
