Veeam, the leading data protection and ransomware recovery provider, is seeking a Technical Account Manager. This role involves planning, architecting, coordinating, and managing professional services engagements with a focus on availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring. The Technical Account Manager should be an expert with knowledge in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Continuity, Data Center, Cloud, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization.
The role involves:
- Providing input to proposals and Statements of Work
- Supporting delivery implementation and consulting services
- Providing overall project guidance
- Assisting with solution assessment and design
- Assisting with implementation effort estimation
- Creating white papers, solutions guides, and custom documentation
- Delivering onsite knowledge transfer
- Documenting configurations and completed activities
- Analyzing installed environments and guiding optimal configurations
- Facilitating communication between client and Veeam support
- Identifying additional client needs
- Providing input for process and documentation improvement
Requirements:
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products
- Proven Consulting and Project Management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Significant experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience with storage systems and technologies
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment
- Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications
- Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics
- Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
- Working knowledge of Cloud technologies
- Business proficient in German and English
