Veeam, a leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Bucharest, Romania. The SDR will identify, validate, and qualify new account opportunities for the channel, inside, and field sales teams within the UK&I market.

The Role Involves:

  • Generating new demand for the channel and sales organization.
  • Qualifying marketing-generated demand against established criteria.
  • Discovering and validating additional personas within buying groups.
  • Nurturing prospects using multiple touch tactics.
  • Tracking and managing account information in Salesforce.
  • Making outbound calls and having meaningful conversations with buyer personas.
  • Penetrating organizations with Veeam products within a defined region.
  • Coordinating sales activities within the Veeam Team.
  • Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of Veeam Software and related products.
  • Meeting identified monthly KPIs.
  • Participating in call out days, events, and ongoing enablement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or a combination of education and experience).
  • Previous sales experience (ideally of high-tech products/services) is a plus.
  • Outbound calling and/or Revenue Development Representative experience is a plus.
  • Technical education and technology understanding of storage backup, cloud backup, and key manufacturers in the industry is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of social media and social selling best practices.
  • Collaboration skills across internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic business research tools (LinkedIn, Google, Salesforce or similar CRM, Hoovers).
  • Excellent correspondence skills (Outlook, Instant Messaging, and over the phone).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
