Job Description
Verkada is seeking an Account Executive to join their Mid-Market West Corp Team. This role is focused on generating new business within mid-sized companies across various corporate sectors in the Western United States. The Account Executive will play a crucial role in helping customers operate safer, smarter buildings with Verkada’s cloud-managed physical security solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Source and close new business to meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Build an understanding of Verkada products and their industry placement.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, proposals, and closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Exceed activity targets through proactive outreach.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and Channel Partners.
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners, Solutions Engineering & Technical Support.
  • Provide market feedback to the Product/Engineering team.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in-office 5 days a week in San Mateo, California.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity.
  • Effective communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation.

What Verkada Offers:
  • On-target earnings (OTE) range of $125,000 - $190,000 USD annually, comprised of base compensation and commissions.
