Veeam is seeking an Employee Relations Director to drive the ER strategy globally. This role involves being part of the People & Culture leadership team and managing a team. The ER Leader will establish the strategy, framework, structure, develop standards/ SOPS for investigations, and improve reporting to remain compliant.
The responsibilities for this role at Veeam include:
- Advising Business Leaders and HR Leaders on employee behavior and performance issues.
- Conducting internal investigations into allegations of employee misconduct.
- Evaluating situations requiring knowledge of company process, policies, and business needs.
- Ensuring fair treatment of employees and recommending revisions to policies.
- Influencing VLT in sensitive situations and building strong relationships.
- Managing staffing initiatives and restructuring activities.
- Coordinating cases with legal counsel and ensuring stakeholders are advised.
- Developing and managing ER programs.
- Being an evangelist of Veeam culture.
- Building awareness of DEIB in approach and analytics.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of regional, country, and local regulatory requirements globally.
- Self-directed with initiative and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Expertise in writing concise executive summaries.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Diplomacy, executive maturity, organizational agility, and ability to keep confidences.
- Strong listening skills and ability to understand client business priorities.
- Expert interpersonal skills and ability to foster effective working relationships.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, continuous learning attitude.
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources disciplines.
- Demonstrated Employee Relations experience and influence with management.
- Experience working at a Technology company is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
