Veeam, a leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join their team in Prague, working on Veeam Backup for Salesforce. This role involves developing testing strategies, automating tests, maintaining test documentation, and validating test scenarios.
  • Developing testing strategies for software products
  • Developing automated tests for integration and functional scenarios
  • Maintaining test documentation
  • Validating tests and scenarios written by other testers
  • Conducting test cycles using functional, integration, and load testing
  • Evaluating test results and preparing reports
  • Analyzing results, increasing test coverage, and participating in development
Requirements for the role include:
  • Knowledge of Java, SQL, REST, SOAP, HTTP
  • Knowledge of Selenium and API testing
  • Knowledge of Docker and distributed systems
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools (TestNG, JUnit, NUnit)
  • Skill in collecting system requirements and understanding system interoperability
