Veeam, the leading data protection and ransomware recovery provider, seeks a Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join their Veeam Backup for Salesforce team. This role is based in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of Veeam's solutions.

The QA Automation Engineer is expected to collaborate closely with development teams to create and execute comprehensive testing strategies. They will analyze test results, generate reports, and provide valuable insights for enhancing product quality. Role Involves:

  • Developing testing strategies for software products
  • Developing automated tests for integration and functional scenarios
  • Maintaining test documentation
  • Validating tests and scenarios written by other testers
  • Conducting test cycles using functional, integration, and load testing
  • Evaluating test results and preparing reports
  • Analyzing results and increasing test coverage

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Java
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of REST, SOAP, HTTP
  • Knowledge of Selenium, API testing experience
  • Knowledge of Docker
  • Knowledge of the principles of distributed systems
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools: TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, etc.
  • Skill and experience in collecting system requirements
  • Understanding of system interoperability
  • Understanding of the differences between various types of testing
