Devops Engineer at Veeam Software

Veeam, the leading provider of data protection and ransomware recovery solutions, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team in Prague. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and improving the on-premise and cloud infrastructure used by the QA team for performance testing Veeam products.

The role involves collaborating with QA professionals to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the test environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in virtualization, cloud computing, and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, manage and improve on-prem (VMware ESXi) and Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Improve currently used Ansible playbooks and roles
• Manage, create new CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Help to automate collection of metrics from test labs to Grafana/Victoriametrics
• Support team infrastructure and labs with issues and handle incidents
• Constantly improve tools used in the team, suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Experience with on-prem hosted hypervisors and management tools
• Experience with system configuration tools (Ansible, packer or similar)
• CI/CD experience Jenkins or similar (Gitlab CI, TeamCity)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS public clouds
• Knowledge of PowerShell is mandatory
• Experience with any observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, etc)
