Devops Engineer at Veeam Software

Veeam, the leading data protection and ransomware recovery provider, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team in Lisbon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-premise and cloud infrastructure used by the QA team to performance test Veeam products. This role involves a mix of infrastructure management, automation, and support to ensure the smooth operation of test environments.

The role involves:

• Monitoring, managing, and improving on-prem (VMware ESXi) and Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Managing storage systems like NetApp, Pure and MinIO
• Improving Ansible playbooks and roles
• Creating new CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for deploying labs and configurations
• Automating collection of metrics from test labs to Grafana/Victoriametrics
• Supporting team infrastructure and labs and handling incidents
• Improving tools used in the team and suggesting improvements

Requirements:

• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, Storages, Networking, VM management
• Experience with system configuration tools (Ansible, packer or similar)
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or similar tools
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS public clouds
• Knowledge of PowerShell
• Experience with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, etc)
