Junior QA Engineer at Veeam Software

Veeam, the global market leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will work within the Veeam Quality Assurance team, collaborating with QA professionals to ensure the quality of Veeam products.

The role involves:

• Deep diving into Veeam products and technologies.
• Analyzing software requirements.
• Testing Veeam products.
• Communicating with the product development team.
• Evaluating test results and maintaining the defects database.

Veeam expects candidates to have:

• Technical education or a passion for technology.
• Experience in IT as a test engineer, software developer, or system administrator (or be looking for first job).
• A willingness to grow professionally in software testing.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of network technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Curiosity, attentiveness, and an eye for detail.
• Open-mindedness, common sense, and clear logic.
• Fast learning ability and a love for challenging tasks.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
