Job Description

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will work within the Veeam Quality Assurance team, contributing to the quality of Veeam products. This role involves analyzing software requirements, testing Veeam products, and communicating with the product development team.

The Junior QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Veeam's data resilience solutions. Veeam believes businesses should control all their data whenever and wherever they need it. Veeam provides data resilience through data backup, data recovery, data portability, data security, and data intelligence.

Role Involves:

  • Deep diving into Veeam products and technology
  • Analyzing software requirements
  • Testing Veeam products
  • Communicating with the product development process
  • Evaluating test results and maintaining defects database

Requirements:

  • Technical education or passion for technology
  • Looking for first job in IT or experience as test engineer, software developer or system administrator
  • Willingness to grow professionally in software testing
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of network technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network settings, etc.)
  • Curiosity and attentiveness to detail
  • Open-mindedness, common sense, and clear logic
  • Fast learner with a passion for challenging tasks
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English
